Red and White Cabbage Salad
Red And White Cabbage Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 large head red cabbage, chopped, 1/2 large head white cabbage, chopped, 1 bunch green onion, sliced, 2 pkg. ramen oriental noodles (do not use seasoning mix) and 1/2 c. sunflower seeds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Break noodles into small pieces.
Lightly brown noodles, sunflower seeds, almonds and sesame seeds in butter or margarine. In a separate pan, bring to a boil the peanut oil, soy sauce, sugar and rice vinegar.
Cook, stirring often, until sugar dissolves. One-half hour before serving, pour dressing on cabbage.
Just before serving, add noodle mixture to salad.
