Raw Apple Icing
Raw Apple Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. firmly packed thinly sliced tart apples, peeled, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg white and 1 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
Beat at low speed of mixer until apple is finely chopped.
Increase speed to high as icing thickens and beat until icing is thick and smooth, about 5 minutes.
Spread on cake.
This icing is best served the same day it is made.
Yields sufficient icing for two (8-inch) layers or 1 (13 x 9 1/2-inch) sheet cake.
