Raw Apple Cake
Raw Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. oil, 3 eggs, 1/2 tsp. salt and 4 to 5 chopped apples (mcintosh or jonathan), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Place sugar, oil, eggs, salt, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and vanilla in mixing bowl.
Beat with wooden spoon or use electric mixer until ingredients are well blended.
Add apples, half of nuts and raisins and blend.
Turn batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle with remaining nuts and bake at 350Β° for about 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
