Measure sugar, oil and pumpkin into large mixing bowl. Beat well at medium speed.

Eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Add flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt

(sifted), small amounts at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Raisins and nuts.

Turn into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan lined with wax paper on bottom. Level batter with back of spoon.

Bake in moderate 350Β° oven about 1
