Pumpkin Bars
Pumpkin Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. oatmeal, 1 c. all-purpose flour (unsifted), 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In medium bowl, combine oatmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Make well in center; add pumpkin, egg, butter and vanilla.
Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Spread mixture in a 9 x 9 pan that has been greased.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes or until firm and lightly browned.
Let cool in pan.
