Pull Taffy
Pull Taffy is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. light brown sugar, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1/4 tsp. salt and 2/3 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Put into deep saucepan.
Cook over low heat.
Stir well until sugar is dissolved.
Cook without stirring to a hard boil stage (280Β°).
Remove from heat.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and pour into a shallow buttered pan to cool.
When edges of candy stiffen, fold them to the center with a spatula.
Coat hand with butter.
When cool enough to handle, pull candy until light cream color, stretch and twist into rope or braid 3 strands.
Cut into 1 inch pieces.
