Pretzel Fried Chicken
Pretzel Fried Chicken is an easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 lb. fryer broilers, 2 eggs, beaten until lemon yellow, 1/2 c. milk, 3 c. crushed pretzel crumbs and vegetable oil or shortening for deep frying, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cut up chicken.
Dry the chicken with paper toweling.
Mix eggs and milk well.
Place the finely crushed pretzels in a paper sack. Dip chicken in the egg-milk mixture, then place in crushed pretzels and shake until coated.
Drop into 350° vegetable oil and fry until a rich golden brown.
Place the fried pieces of chicken on aluminum foil in a large flat baking pan and bake at 300° for about 35 minutes.
Serve hot.
