In a large saucepan, melt margarine over medium heat.
Saute celery and onion until tender.
Add potatoes and broth.
Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender (about 12 minutes).
PurΓ©e potato mixture in a blender.
Return to saucepan, stir in milk and seasoning.
Add cheese and heat only until melted.
Makes 8 servings.
