Stir in reserved asparagus liquid, water and bouillon.

Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.

Blend well.

Add asparagus, half and half, dill and pepper.

Return to heat.

Heat slowly.

Stir frequently.
