Pistachio Date Nut Bread
Pistachio Date Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. chopped dates, 1 c. boiling water, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 c. chopped, shelled natural pistachios and 1 tsp. each: baking powder and baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Soak dates in hot water.
Combine flour, pistachios, sugar, baking soda and salt.
Combine date mixture, eggs, butter, vanilla and orange peel.
Add to flour mixture.
Mix only until moistened.
Spoon into 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch greased loaf pan. Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 50 minutes or until pick comes out clean. Yields 1 loaf.
