Pineapple-Nut Bread
Pineapple-Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1 c. walnuts, chopped, 3/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. ground mace and 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple in juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mix well flour, sugar, walnuts, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and ground mace.
In small bowl, beat egg, crushed pineapple with its liquid, milk and margarine.
Stir egg mixture into flour mixture just until flour is moistened.
Pour the batter into greased pan.
Bake 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool bread in pan on wire rack ten minutes. Remove bread from pan.
Cool completely.
