Pie Crust
Pie Crust is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 2/3 c. plus 2 tbsp. crisco or 2/3 c. lard and 4 to 5 tbsp. cold water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Using a pastry blender, blend flour, salt and Crisco until the mixture is the size of small peas.
Add the cold water and mix until it cleans the sides of the bowl.
Divide the dough in half and roll thin on a lightly floured table.
Use one on the bottom of the pan and slit the top one to allow steam to escape.
It's a good idea to place a pizza pan on the rack below to catch drippings. This saves oven cleaning.
This makes 2 crusts.
