Pickle Okra
Pickle Okra is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 qt. whole okra, 3 heads fresh dill, 3 buds garlic, 1 qt. water and 1/2 c. canning salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Select small size okra; wash well, leaving small end of stem on.
Pack okra in clean sterilized jars.
Put a head of dill or dill seed with a bud of garlic in each jar.
Make brine of vinegar, water and salt.
Bring to a boil and pour over okra.
Let set for 4 or 6 weeks.
Be sure no dill seeds are under lid when you seal it, or it will spoil.
