Pesto Sauce
Pesto Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. fresh basil leaves, 1/2 c. pine nuts (walnuts can be substituted), 3/4 c. parmesan cheese, grated and 1 c. olive oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Wash and dry basil.
In a food processor grind nuts to a powder and set aside.
Chop basil in food processor.
When well chopped, add Parmesan cheese and mix.
Add chopped nuts and garlic.
Blend in olive oil by hand.
Garlic and olive oil can be adjusted to taste.
Great on pasta.
Cheese tortellini is my favorite.
