Peanut Munch and Crunch
Peanut Munch And Crunch is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. sugar, 1 1/2 sticks butter (no margarine), 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. water and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Before you cook candy, put real chocolate morsels in a double boiler to melt.
Saucepan first six ingredients.
(If you use a candy thermometer, put in place.) Boil, stirring often, to

285Β°) or until a small mixture in cold water becomes brittle.
Take pan off and stir in baking soda.
Pour on a greased cookie sheet. Spread very thin. Take chocolate morsels that have been melted and spread half of melted chocolate on top of the hot candy. When the chocolate is hard, turn over and spread the remaining chocolate the other side.
(Keep chocolate hot until you use it up.) candy is cool and hard, break into bite size chunks.
