Made with 1/4 c. packed brown sugar, 1/4 c. light corn syrup, 1/3 c. chunk style peanut butter, 2 c. crisp rice cereal and 3/4 c. chopped mixed dried fruit, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large saucepan, stir together sugar and corn syrup.
Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves, then remove from the heat. Add peanut butter; mix well.
Stir in cereal and fruit until well coated.
Press into an ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
Cool until firm, then cut into bars.
Makes 24 servings; 2 grams of fat per serving.
