Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. white corn syrup, 1/2 c. water, 2 c. raw peanuts and 1 tsp. butter, heaping, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine sugar, syrup and water and cook together until it forms a hard ball, 350Β° on candy thermometer.
Add peanuts and butter and cook in the syrup until it browns.
Add vanilla. Remove from heat and add soda.
Mix well.
Pour into buttered pans.
Spread thinly.
When cold break into pieces.
