Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3/4 c. white sugar, 1/2 c. water, 1 tsp. soda and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
👨🍳 Instructions
Put sugar, syrup and water in pan and boil at 240°.
Add butter and raw peanuts.
Boil until 300°, stirring constantly. Add soda, vanilla and salt which has been dissolved in a little water. Mix well.
Pour on well buttered cookie sheets.
Spread with buttered knives.
It takes 3 cookie sheets.
