Paw Paw's Creamy Pralines
Paw Paw'S Creamy Pralines is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) box light brown sugar, 1/8 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. evaporated milk, 2 tbsp. butter and 2 c. pecans, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix sugar, salt, milk and butter in a 2 quart pan.
Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Add pecans and cook over medium heat to a soft ball stage (234Β°) stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, let cool 5 minutes.
Stir rapidly until mixture thickens and coats pecans.
Working quickly, drop teaspoonfuls on waxed paper, forming patties.
Let stand until cool and set.
Makes about 4 dozen.
