Pasta Sauce Raphael
Pasta Sauce Raphael is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 jars 6 oz. each marinated artichoke hearts, 1/4 c. olive oil, 2 c. chopped onions, 2 tbsp. minced garlic and 1/2 tsp. dried oregano, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Drain the artichoke hearts, reserving the marinade.
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan.
Add the onions, garlic, basil, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes and reserved artichoke marinade.
Saute over medium to low heat until the onion and garlic are soft and translucent, 10 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add the artichoke hearts, Parmesan and parsley. Stir gently and simmer another 5 minutes.
Serves 6.
