Oysters Rockefeller Casserole
Oysters Rockefeller Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. raw oysters, 1/4 lb. butter, 1 onion, chopped, 1 stalk celery and 1/2 c. parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Drain oysters.
Saute celery and onion in butter for 5 minutes.
Add parsley, thawed spinach, Worcestershire sauce, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and cayenne.
Grease a shallow casserole. Arrange oysters in one layer only.
Cover with spinach mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 450Β°.
Remove and sprinkle with cheese and very thin layer of bread crumbs.
Return to oven for 10 minutes. Yields 8 servings.
