Oysters Casino
Oysters Casino is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 oysters in the half shell, 1/4 c. butter, 2 tbsp. parsley, finely chopped, 2 tbsp. celery hearts, finely chopped and juice of 1/2 lemon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Imbed the oysters in the pans of rock salt.
Cream together the butter, shallots, parsley, green pepper, celery and lemon juice.
Put a piece of the butter mixture on each oyster.
Top with pimento and a square of the bacon.
Bake at 450Β° until the bacon is browned, about 5 to 8 minutes.
