Oven Butter-Browned Potatoes
Oven Butter-Browned Potatoes is an easy dinner. Made with 4 large baking potatoes, peeled, 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Preheat oven to 325°.
Cut potatoes in half lengthwise and dry with paper towels.
In oven, melt butter in 2-quart baking dish. Roll potatoes in butter to coat thoroughly.
Arrange in dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes in a preheated 325° oven.
Turn potatoes. Spoon remaining butter over potatoes.
Continue to bake, uncovered, 45 minutes until browned.
