Oriental Pork Chops
Oriental Pork Chops is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 clove garlic, minced, 4 tsp. minced ginger, 1/2 c. dry sherry wine and 1/2 c. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In medium saucepan, heat oil.
Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute.
Remove from heat; add sherry, soy sauce, honey, orange peel, sesame seed and Tabasco sauce.
Place chops in large shallow dish or plastic bag; add marinade.
Cover; refrigerate for 1 hour. Turn chops occasionally.
Remove chops from marinade; pour marinade into small saucepan.
Place chops on grill about 5 inches from source of heat.
Grill 10 minutes on each side.
Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine cornstarch and water; stir.
