Onion Soup
Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. onion, thinly sliced, 1/2 c. butter, 1/4 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Saute onions in butter over low heat for 20 to 30 minutes until tender and transparent.
Blend in flour, pepper and salt and cook over medium heat, stirring until bubbly.
Remove from heat and stir in milk and stock gradually.
Return to heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Add Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly for 1 minute, then serve.
