Start heating oven to 375Β°.
Arrange a layer of potatoes in a greased 2-quart casserole.
Cover with some of the onions. Sprinkle with some of the combined flour, salt and pepper.
Dot with some butter.
Repeat layers until all is used and ending with butter.
Pour the scalded milk over all; sprinkle with paprika. Bake covered for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake for 15 minutes longer or until tender.
