(8 oz.) cream-style cottage cheese, 1/2 c. honey, 1/4 c. butter or margarine and 5 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix cottage cheese and butter or margarine with water and honey.
Heat in medium saucepan until very warm (130Β°).
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup and level off.
Combine warm liquids, 2 cups flour and remaining ingredients in large bowl; beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
By hand, stir in remaining flour to make a stiff dough.
Knead dough on well floured surface for 2 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
Place in greased bowl. Cover; let rise in warm place until light and double in size (approximately 1 hour).
Grease (not oil) two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
