Norwegian Meat Balls
Norwegian Meat Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. milk, 1 lb. hamburger, 1 medium onion, 1/2 c. cornstarch and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In a large bowl, mix milk and 1/4 cup of the cornstarch until well blended.
Add meat, onion, salt, nutmeg, pepper and egg; mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes, then shape into 1-inch balls.
In skillet over medium heat, heat oil until hot.
Cook meat balls, 1/2 at a time, until browned (8 to 10 minutes).
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Pour off all but 1/4 of the drippings, adding oil if needed to make 1/4 cup.
