Norman's Chopped Liver
Norman'S Chopped Liver is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. fresh chicken livers, cut into small pieces, 2 white onions, finely diced, 1/3 c. fresh chicken fat (found in frozen food area), salt and pepper to taste and 2 hard-boiled eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Saute chicken livers and 1/2 onions in heavy frying pan until onions are golden brown and livers have turned light brown.
Put them into a chopping bowl.
Add salt, pepper and the rest of raw onion.
Chop together until coarse and blended (or put through a food grinder).
Do not purΓ©e.
Add chopped eggs.
Refrigerate and serve with crackers or rye bread.
