Never Fail Fudge
Never Fail Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. sugar, 1/4 lb. butter, 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk, 1 (12 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate pieces and 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow crème, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Melt butter in heavy 2-quart saucepan; stir in milk and sugar. Bring to full, rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Continue boiling over medium heat until mixture reaches 234° or soft ball stage, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate pieces until melted.
Add Marshmallow Crème and nuts, stirring until well blended.
Pour into well-greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Cool at room temperature.
Cut into squares.
(If fudge is too soft, chill.)
Makes about 3 pounds.
