Nana's Eggnog
Nana'S Eggnog is an easy dinner. Made with 12 eggs, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 qt. milk, 2 to 2 1/2 c. bourbon or rum or 2 tbsp. rum extract and 1 pt. whipping cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Separate eggs.
Beat yolks with 1 cup of the sugar.
Stir in milk and liquor (or extract).
Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry, adding 1/2 cup sugar.
Fold into milk and yolk mixture. Beat whipping cream and fold in.
Chill several hours.
Serve with freshly grated nutmeg.
Serves about 20.
