My Favorite Pasta-Garlic Clam Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped green pepper, 4 cloves garlic, minced, 2 tbsp. olive oil and 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Saute onion, green pepper and garlic in olive oil until translucent.
(Add a little water and cover if necessary.) Add mushrooms and continue heating in covered saucepan for about 3 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, including all liquid from clams; heat until hot in covered saucepan.
Serve with 1 cup spaghetti or linguine (2 ounces dry) per serving.
Top with Parmesan cheese.
