Mushroom Potato Casserole
Mushroom Potato Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 to 10 medium potatoes, cheese slices, cream of mushroom soup, 1 stick margarine/butter and 1/2 c. carnation milk (cream), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Peel potatoes and slice medium thin.
Cook potatoes (salt to taste) on stovetop until firm, but done.
In saucepan put soup, butter, cream and 4 cheese slices and slowly melt cheese. Drain potatoes and pour in baking dish.
Cover with cheese sauce; top with cheese slices and bake in oven until bubbly, about 15 minutes.
