Mushroom Pepper Steak
Mushroom Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. cubed steak or round steak, cut in small strips, 2 tbsp. soy sauce (or more), 1/2 c. flour, 1 large green pepper, diced and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put soy sauce in bowl.
Dip pieces of steak in soy sauce, then roll in flour.
Brown steak in oil over medium heat.
Add green pepper and saute a few minutes.
Add water and mushrooms.
Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
Serve with rice.
