Moselle's Rolls
Moselle'S Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 1 1/2 c. scalded milk, 2 tsp. salt and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Soften yeast in water.
Scald milk and add sugar and shortening.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add about 2 cups flour and beat thoroughly.
Add eggs and yeast; beat thoroughly.
Add rest of flour to make a soft dough.
Knead on a floured board until smooth and elastic (about 10 minutes).
Let rise until doubled.
Cut out in desired shapes and let rise until doubled again.
Bake at 425Β° until browned.
