Morea's Mouth-Watering Chicken
Morea'S Mouth-Watering Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 whole chicken breasts, boned and halved, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1/2 c. white wine, 1/4 tsp. thyme and 1 can sliced water chestnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Saute chicken breasts in butter until golden.
Remove and place in baking dish.
Lightly saute mushrooms, as many as you wish, green pepper, water chestnuts and seasonings.
Pour over chicken breasts.
Heat the can of soup diluted with the wine.
Pour over chicken and bake, covered, 25 minutes.
Uncover and continue to bake another 25 minutes.
This dish can be prepared in advance and baked when ready to serve.
