Mom's Beef Stew
Mom'S Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. beef stew meat, 1 medium onion, diced, 4 large carrots, in chunks, 2 celery ribs, in chunks and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Brown meat in butter in a Dutch oven.
Add vegetables and seasonings.
Mix liquids and add 1/2 of this to mixture.
Cover and simmer about 2 hours.
Add rest of liquid during cooking. Just before serving, add sliced pickles.
Serve over mashed potatoes or noodles.
