Mock Marshmallow Frosting
Mock Marshmallow Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 tbsp. flour, 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 c. softened butter, 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Place flour a small saucepan.
Add milk gradually, stirring constantly mixture smooth and blended. Place mixture over moderately low heat (about 225Β°) and cook, stirring constantly, thickened and smooth.
(Mixture will be fairly stiff.) Cool.
Place butter in the small bowl of an electric mixer and beat until creamy.
Add sugar gradually and beat mixture is light.
Add the cooled flour mixture and beat at high speed until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Gently fold in vanilla.
Makes enough to frost the top of a 9-inch cake.
