Microwave Custard Sauce
Microwave Custard Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. flour, 1 1/2 c. milk, 2 egg yolks, beaten and 1 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In 1-quart glass measuring cup, combine sugar and flour gradually.
Stir in milk.
Heat 5 to 6 minutes on High, until sauce is slightly thickened.
Stir every 2 minutes.
With wire whip, quickly stir in egg yolks.
Heat 1 to 2 minutes on Defrost, until sauce is thickened, stirring after 1 minute.
Stir in vanilla.
Chill slightly before serving.
Yields 2 cups.
