Microwave Butter Toffee
Microwave Butter Toffee is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. water and 1 c. chopped nuts of choice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Rim the top of an 8-cup measuring bowl with the stick of butter.
Place the remaining butter in the bottom of the bowl. Add sugar, salt and water and microwave for 7 to 8 minutes.
Do not stir.
Continue adding 30 second cook times until the mixture is a light golden brown in color, about 3 minutes.
While the candy is cooking, line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spread the chopped nuts evenly on the foil.
When the candy is done, pour the mixture over the chopped nuts.
Do not scrape the excess syrup out of the measuring bowl.
When pouring the candy syrup on the foil and nuts, make sure to allow the candy to flow around all the nuts.
Let stand until candy is firm and cool.
