Mexican Pralines
Mexican Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 tbsp. corn syrup and 5 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In two quart saucepan, combine sugars, corn syrup, butter or margarine and water.
Bring to boil.
Add nuts and continue cooking over medium heat until candy reaches soft ball stage or 238Β°.
Remove from heat and stir rapidly until mixture begins to lose its gloss.
Quickly drop candy from teaspoon onto waxed paper and allow to harden.
Makes about 24 pralines.
