Mexican Fiesta Pie
Mexican Fiesta Pie is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 2 tsp. chili powder, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed and 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Brown meat; drain.
Add onion.
Cook until tender.
Stir in chili powder.
Add cream cheese, chilies, olives and eggs; mix well.
Combine flour, milk and eggs.
Beat until smooth.
Pour into greased 10-inch pie plate or quiche dish.
Sprinkle with cornmeal. Spoon meat mixture over batter to within 1/2-inch of outer edge of pan.
Bake at 400Β° for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Top with tomatoes and Cheddar cheese.
Continue baking 5 minutes.
