Meat Loaf
Meat Loaf is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1/4 lb. breakfast sausage loaf (optional), 1 egg, about 1/2 c. milk and 3 to 4 slices white bread, broken in pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix all ingredients (except flour) in a large bowl (knead with hands), meat first, then dry ingredients, then remaining ingredients.
Set in covered bowl in refrigerator to blend for 1 to 2 hours.
Form into loaf and bake in uncovered, greased pan at 300Β° for about 1 3/4 to 2 hours.
Make gravy from drippings, using the 2 tablespoons flour and water.
(Best if made and baked one day and served the next.)
