Cook potatoes until tender.
Drain.
Mash potatoes and mix in sour cream, softened cream cheese, 1 tablespoon butter, onion salt and pepper.
Gradually beat in enough milk to make potatoes fluffy and light.
Turn into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Cover with foil.
Chill up to 24 hours.
To serve, dot with remaining 1 tablespoon butter and bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 45 minutes or until heated through.
