Maraschino Cherry Cake

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Add shortening, juice from cherries, milk and maraschino cherries. Beat with mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.

Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched.
