Macaroni Salad
Macaroni Salad is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 c. elbow macaroni, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. vinegar, 4 eggs, well beaten and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Boil macaroni for 12 minutes.
Do not overcook.
Rinse well with cold water.
In heavy saucepan, cook together until thickened sugar, vinegar, eggs, salt, mustard and butter.
Cool then add mayonnaise.
Stir into macaroni.
Add as much onion, celery and sweet pickle cubes as you like.
Use green pepper if you want to. Sprinkle well with paprika before stirring for color.
Sprinkle on top before chilling.
Best if refrigerated overnight before serving.
