Luncheon Fruit Salad
Luncheon Fruit Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tall can crushed pineapple, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 large pkg. cream cheese and 2 tbsp. unflavored gelatin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat pineapple, sugar and lemon juice.
Do not boil; soften gelatin with a little cold water and add a little of the warm pineapple mixture to it.
Mix well so it won't lump.
Mash cheese; add to preceding; also add cherries, cut up in pieces, with enough maraschino juice to make a pink color.
Let set until quite thick, then add whipped cream.
Put in a mold or just in a dish.
