Luncheon Biscuits
Luncheon Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, sifted, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. sugar (granulated) and 1/4 c. shortening, chilled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat to 425°.
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Add milk all at once until dough follows fork around bowl. Place dough on lightly floured surface, patting out dough to 3/4-inch thick. Use either biscuit cutter
(I use a snuff box) or a knife when unique shapes are desired.
Bake at 425° for to 12 minutes ungreased cookie sheet. Yield: 10 tiny biscuits.
