Lentil Soup(Fahki)
Lentil Soup(Fahki) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. lentils, 2 qt. water, 4 to 5 small onions, chopped, 1/4 c. olive oil and 1/4 c. wesson oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Prick lamb; salt and pepper well all over.
Spike about 10 garlic buds into lamb.
Sprinkle all over with lemon juice. Marinate overnight.
Next day, cook uncovered until browned. Then, add a little water to make gravy.
Also, place peeled potatoes that have been cut into large chunks down in pan with lamb.
Baste with some of the juice.
Cover and cook until tender.
