Lemon-Orange Pound Cake
Lemon-Orange Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. soda, 1/4 tsp. salt and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 350Β°. Grease Bundt pan or tube pan generously with Crisco.
Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt and put in large bowl of electric mixer.
Add sugar, Crisco and buttermilk.
Mix 1 minute to blend ingredients, then beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, blending on low speed.
Spoon batter lightly into prepared pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
When cake is done, remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes, then invert pan onto wax paper covered plate.
Comes out easily if pan has been well-greased.
